Helping you break free from persistent pain and chronic
symptoms
Hello and welcome, I'm Jennifer
Chronic Pain Specialist and Mind-body Coach for Persistent Symptoms
(Physiotherapist by background)
The path of recovery from chronic symptoms can feel isolating and confusing.
Having spent a decade struggling with chronic pain, I understand how scary and demoralising it can feel to be told no one can help.
Despite what we may have been told, recovering from chronic pain/fatigue/dizziness is not about another injection, a different exercise regime or supplement. Modern neuroscience demonstrates repeatedly that symptoms persist as a predictive and protective response driven by our nervous system. So we have to treat them as such.
Mind-body coaching gets to the root of what is keeping you stuck and gives you the tools unique to you to re-wire your brain and nervous system back to health.
I now live a full and active life without pain and fully trust that this is possible for you too. Recovery can be simple, but it's not always easy. You deserve to live a full, rich and meaningful life and I serve to guide you along that path.

There is a reason you aren't better...
Persistent pain or pain that started out of the blue is fundamentally different to acute injury. So it cannot usually be treated successfully in the same way. Even if the pain goes away temporarily, so often another symptom crops up.
Thankfully, the last twenty years of neuroscientific research demonstrates that persistent symptoms are often primarily driven by over-protective, heightened chemical signalling within the brain and central nervous system. With a professional background in anatomy expertise, my work now sits at the intersection of pain science, neuroplasticity and mind-body coaching.
A neuroscience informed, mind-body approach goes far beyond symptom management. I provide 1:1 guidance and tailored coaching aimed at targeting the root of what is driving the symptoms and providing clear, simple steps to actually move the needle forward. Through coaching you will feel empowered to trust your own wisdom and that of your body.

"Three years ago, I developed severe sciatic pain which caused me to become virtually bed bound. After exhausting the medical model to try to alleviate the pain (including surgery), the pain persisted and was so severe, I considered ending my life.
At this time, thankfully, I was given Jennie’s contact details and with her expert guidance, I learned about mind body work.
Jennie was empathetic, knowledgable and immensely supportive. I cannot recommend her enough and wish that every person with chronic pain could have the opportunity to work with her! Jennie has a wealth of personal and professional experience in the mind-body work, which gave me hope and courage.
Slowly, but surely, under Jennie’s guidance, I regained my life! I practice the mind body work as often as possible and am now back in work, exercising and travelling. I still have ‘flare ups’ of sciatica, but infrequently and when I do, I read back through emails from Jennie outlining the work we did during our sessions and deep dive back into the work - thank you, Jennie!"
